Franky C. Chan is the managing partner at Guerrero & Chan, LLP. Mr. Chan is a first-generation Chinese immigrant from Macau, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He was first trained as an accountant (with a B.S. in Accounting and passed California Certified Public Accountant examination) and later as an attorney. Mr. Chan started serving clients in the Greater Los Angeles area in early 1989. His practice focuses in Business Consultation, Civil Litigation and Professional/Business Immigration. Mr. Chan serves as the corporate counsel to many multi-million-dollar businesses and represents businesses of different sizes in civil litigation. Mr. Chan has successfully litigated civil disputes, both in trial and arbitration, and has won multi-million-dollar judgments on behalf of his clients. He has also represented clients in out-of-state litigation and legal matters in Florida and Nevada.
For the last 30 years, Mr. Chan has successfully obtained legal status for hundreds, if not thousands, of clients. Mr. Chan focuses his immigration practice in professional and business immigration. Mr. Chan successfully represented clients in EB-1 self-petition, EB-2/3 labor certification petitions and EB-5 investment program.
Mr. Chan is a graduate of Loyola Law School and is admitted to the California Supreme Court and the Central District of California. He is a member of California State Bar, Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
