Mr. Guerrero has been in the practice of law for over 25 years. Prior to beginning his practice of law, he was a professor at a local Community College teaching in the Public Service Department which included blocks of POST certified instruction in Police and Fire Academy. Mr. Guerrero spent 10 years employed in the Southern California specialized trucking industry handling the rigging, transportation and placement of manufacturing machinery. He also worked with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, providing employment opportunities for inmates who had achieved a credential in an industrial skill while incarcerated. At the young age of 40, Mr. Guerrero, having worked and established a multitude of contacts, started his sole practice upon commencing his career in the practice of law.
Mr. Guerrero earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and earned his law degree from the UC Davis King Hall School of Law.
Mr. Guerrero is a senior partner with Guerrero & Chan, LLP. His law practice represents clients in a number of family law matters including divorce, parentage, child support, child custody, spousal support and property division. He also represents clients in criminal, both Felony and Misdemeanor, defense matters and in industrial injury and personal injury matters.
Mr. Guerrero has been a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar and Mexican American Bar Association. Mr. Guerrero is fluent in Spanish.
